The full name of the CIIE is the China International Import Expo. It is the world's first large-scale international exhibition with the theme of imports. It includes two parts:  exhibitions and economic forums.

The exhibitions include the Country Exhibition (Trade and Investment Comprehensive Exhibitions of each countries) and Enterprise Exhibition (Enterprise Business Exhibition). In the national exhibition, participating countries will showcase their unique national image, economic and trade development achievements, and characteristical superior products.

The first China International Import Expo closed successfully on November 10, 2018, and won wide acclaim from the international community.

Affected by the epidemic, exhibitions in European and American countries have completely stalled. The third CIIE will be held offline in Shanghai as scheduled to witness the strong resilience of the Chinese economy.

*Introduction of Pavilion

The National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) has a total construction area of nearly 1.5 million square meters, which is currently the largest single building and exhibition complex in the world. It is composed of four parts: exhibition venues, commercial centers, office buildings, and hotels, which are integrated by the exhibition avenue with an elevation of 8 meters, allowing people to walk through them easily.

The National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) has an exhibition area of 500,000 square meters, including 400,000 square meters of indoor exhibition halls and 100,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition halls. The indoor exhibition halls are composed of 13 large exhibition halls and 3 small exhibition halls, which can be reached directly by trucks. Exhibition hall. Sufficient conference facilities are provided around the exhibition halls, consisting of more than 60 conference halls of varying sizes.

According to requirements, the 3rd International Import Expo Enterprise Show only accepts legal entities registered outside the People’s Republic of China (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) to participate in the exhibition; only products produced abroad or service products with service providers outside the country are accepted.
